Coach Alison Coach - Alison Divens O'Connor

Alison Divens O'Connor joined the coaching staff for the 2006 season. Alision (Divens) played youth soccer in both the Bethesda and Freestate soccer clubs, and was a member of the ODP program. She graduated in 2001 from Eleanor Roosevelt High School in Greenbelt, where she was a four-year varsity player. In her senior year, she led the team to the state finals. Divens was named to the All County team four years and the Washington Post All-Met team for three years. She was an all-state selection in 2000 in addition to being named Prince George's County Player of the Year.

O'Connor continued her playing career at Towson University, from which she earned her BS in elementary and special education in 2005. She has coached both swimming and soccer while pursuing her degree. O'Connor is currently a special education teacher at Judith A. Resnik Elementary school in Gaithersburg. In 2006, O'Connor was awarded the Marian Greenblatt Excellence in Education MCPS Rookie Teacher of the Year honor.
